Dual Enrollment Classes on AHS Campus<\/b><\/p>\n
Some AHS classes qualify for Dual Enrollment credit.\u00a0 This means students may receive college credit for classes they are enrolled in during their school day.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
These classes include:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Symphonic Band<\/p>\n
ASL 1 and 2<\/p>\n
Digital Photo<\/p>\n
2D animation\u00a0<\/p>\n
Architecture\u00a0<\/p>\n
Many MVROP courses also qualify for college credit.\u00a0 The list of these courses can be found in the FUSD course catalog<\/a>.\u00a0 To receive college credit for these courses, students will sign up using the paperwork provided by their classroom teacher at the beginning of the school year.\u00a0<\/p>\n Enrolling in Community College Courses<\/b><\/p>\n Some students may opt for added enrichment by enrolling in courses at local community colleges during their time at AHS.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n These courses will not<\/i> impact placement in courses at AHS and will not<\/i> appear on the AHS transcript.\u00a0<\/p>\n Students should be in good standing with grades and attendance prior to submitting their requests.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n AHS does not provide any paperwork or application packets for this type of college enrollment. <\/i>\u00a0Students should seek enrollment information from the college they wish to attend.\u00a0<\/p>\n
