Dear Brookvale Families,<\/span><\/p>

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! Below are some important reminders.<\/span><\/p>

Class Schedules and Teacher Assignments:\u00a0 <\/b>Class schedules and teacher assignments will be available in the Aeries Parent Portal on the evening of Friday August 9th.\u00a0 Class schedules will only be available to families that have completed their Data Confirmation (formally known as MAZE) documents in the Aeries Parent Portal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Aeries Parent Portal:<\/b> 98% of our families have successfully accessed their Aeries Parent Portal and filled out the Data Confirmation forms!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

If you have not yet logged in, you should have received an email from FUSD in July with directions to activate the new Aeries Parent Portal.\u00a0 Parents\/Guardians will use the Portal to complete the annual MAZE process, called Parent Data Confirmation in Aeries. <\/span>This Parent Data Confirmation must be completed by Parents\/Guardians before students can view their class schedule.\u00a0 <\/i><\/b>If you missed the previous communication sent out by FremontUSD, please check your inbox and spam folder.\u00a0 If you are unable to locate the email, you can retrieve your access by clicking on this link:\u00a0 <\/span>https:\/\/fremontusd.aeries.net\/student\/LoginParent.aspx<\/span><\/a>, entering the email associated with your student\u2019s profile and selecting \u201cForgot Password\u201d.\u00a0 This will generate an email to your address with the verification code needed to login to the Aeries Parent Portal.\u00a0 If you have moved from Fremont and will no longer be attending Brookvale, please call or email our office so we can update your enrollment <\/span>information<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

School Office:\u00a0 <\/b>Our school office is now open!\u00a0 Office hours will be 7:45am – 3:00pm daily.<\/span><\/p>

The <\/span>Brookvale Website<\/span><\/a> continues to be the source of the most up to date information throughout the school year.<\/span><\/p>

First Day of School August 14th:\u00a0 <\/b>Please note the new start time!\u00a0 Students are expected to be lined up in front of their classrooms by 8:10am and in their classroom and ready to learn by 8:15am.<\/i><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>

The first three days of school are minimum days:\u00a0 8\/14, 8\/15 and 8\/16<\/span><\/p>

TK:\u00a0 8:15 – 11:35<\/span><\/p>

Kindergarten:\u00a0 8:15 – 11:41<\/span><\/p>

Grades 1-5:\u00a0 8:15 – 1:15<\/span><\/p>

Parents are welcome to walk to their student\u2019s classroom on August 14, 15, 16th.\u00a0 Starting on Monday, August 19th students will walk independently to their classroom and parents will stay in front of the school behind the cones.\u00a0 We appreciate your cooperation as this is a safety measure for the staff and students.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Attendance:\u00a0 <\/b>All students are expected to be in attendance on the first day of school or risk being dropped from enrollment.\u00a0 <\/span>Parents must notify the school that their child is absent in order to keep their enrollment at FUSD.\u00a0 Enrollment will not be held for students on extended vacations or other optional activities, whether or not the school is notified.<\/span><\/p>
