Welcome Back, Brookvale Families!<\/span><\/p>

The first day of school is <\/span>WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14th<\/b> and we are looking forward to seeing you all! Please remember that the first bell rings at 8:10AM and school starts at 8:15AM.\u00a0 It will be a Minimum Day schedule for the first 3 days of school (August 14-16th):<\/span><\/p>

TK: 8:15AM – 11:35AM<\/span><\/p>

KINDER: 8:15AM – 11:41AM<\/span><\/p>

GRADE 1 – 5: 8:15AM – 1:15PM<\/span><\/p>

*Pick Up and Drop Off:<\/b><\/p>

Come Early!\u00a0 Brookvale is located right behind American High School and there will be a lot of traffic this week.\u00a0 Please plan to leave extra early.<\/span><\/p>

All parents should park on Nicolet or next door in the Los Cerritos parking lot and walk their student to the front of the school.\u00a0 The school loop is reserved for staff and school buses only.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Parents are welcome to walk to their student\u2019s classroom on August 14, 15, 16th.\u00a0 Starting on Monday, August 19th students will walk independently to their classroom and parents will stay in front of the school behind the cones.\u00a0 We appreciate your cooperation as this is a safety measure for the staff and students.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Wondering who your child\u2019s teacher will be?\u00a0 Login to the Aeries Parent Portal:\u00a0 https:\/\/fremontusd.aeries.net\/student\/LoginParent.aspx.\u00a0 Click on \u201cClasses\u201d under the hamburger menu, then click on \u201cClasses\u201d again.\u00a0 Your child\u2019s teacher and room number should be displayed.\u00a0 Have more than one child?\u00a0 Toggle between your children by clicking your child\u2019s name at the top.\u00a0 A drop down menu will appear with your other children’s names.<\/span><\/p>

*Attendance: <\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

All students are expected to be in attendance on the first day of school or risk being dropped from enrollment.\u00a0 Parents must notify the school that their child is absent in order to keep their enrollment at FUSD.\u00a0 Enrollment will not be held for students on extended vacations or other optional activities, whether or not the school is notified.<\/span><\/p>

Come join Mrs. Elliott for a Meet & Greet on Friday morning! Some updated information on upcoming events will be discussed and PTA will be around to answer any questions.<\/span><\/p>
