ALAMEDA COUNTY BIKE MOBILE: \u00a0APRIL 11<\/strong><\/p>

The Alameda County Bike Mobile is returning to Brookvale. \u00a0Friday, April 11th from 2:45 – 5:15 pm. \u00a0Come with your bike. Bike repairs: \u00a0flat tires, brakes, shifters and bike education is available. \u00a0Space is limited. \u00a0First come, first served. \u00a0Bike helmets will be given out to those that participate while supplies last.<\/span><\/p>

ELAC MEETING: \u00a0APRIL 15<\/strong><\/p>

Our next English Language Advisory Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th from 3 – 4 pm. \u00a0The meeting will be held via zoom.<\/span><\/p>

SPRING BREAK: \u00a0APRIL 18 – APRIL 25<\/strong><\/p>

Spring break is from April 18 – April 25. \u00a0There is no school for students during this time. \u00a0School will resume on Money, April 28th<\/span><\/p>

CAASPP TESTING<\/strong><\/p>

Our 3-6 grade students have started the state mandated testing (CAASPP). \u00a0All classrooms continue to be busy learning about a vast array of topics. \u00a0 It is important that all students arrive at class on time each day. We appreciate you not scheduling appointments during class time or planning vacation\/out of town trips for the duration of this testing window.<\/span><\/p>

ELPAC TESTING: FEBRUARY 1 – MAY 24<\/strong><\/p>

All students identified as MLL (MultiLingual Learner) will take the ELPAC test to provide data about their progress in English. Students take this test every year until they are reclassified as English Fluent Proficient.\u00a0<\/span>ELPAC resources, including practice test<\/span><\/a>s, are available online. Our testing window will take place between February and May.<\/span><\/p>

SBAC TESTING<\/span><\/h2>

Grades 3-6 students will be participating in SBAC Testing this month. Parents & Guardians, please make sure your students are well-rested, eat a nutritious breakfast, and arrive at school before the line-up bell.<\/span><\/p>

3rd Grade: \u00a0<\/span>May 5 – May 16\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

4th Grade: \u00a0<\/span>April 8 – May 5\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
