Our first meeting will be TODAY, Tuesday, November 28 at lunchtime to eat together and brainstorm activities for our club. We plan to meet every Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtime\u00a0in Room A 104 starting Tuesday, 11\/28.<\/strong><br><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><br><strong><u>The annual canned food drive<\/u><\/strong> <strong>: \u00a0Merit Club challenges EVERY period one class to collect at least 3 items per person in the room. \u00a0Cans, boxed and packaged foods are most appreciated. \u00a0Please do not bring glass containers. \u00a0More details will follow, but perhaps you write it in your HAB&#8212;support our local needy by donating to our food drive. \u00a0All donations are much appreciated.<\/strong><br><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><br><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><br><strong><u>PTSA Dance:<\/u><\/strong><strong>\u00a0 The dance will be on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 3:15-5:15 PM. \u00a0Tickets will be sold at lunch today and 11\/29, outside of the gym. \u00a0 Also, after school on 11\/29. \u00a0Cost is $5.00 and NO tickets and\/or IDs will be sold on the day of the dance (no exceptions). \u00a0PTSA Members will receive a FREE ticket. Get your tickets early to avoid the lines.<\/strong><br><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><br><strong><u>Girls Basketball Tryouts: \u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong>Informational meeting at lunch on December 7, 2023, \u00a06th grade tryouts: \u00a0Dec 14th, 3-5 PM, \u00a07th and 8th grade tryouts: \u00a0Dec 20th, 2-4 PM. \u00a0Practices will start on January 8th<\/strong><br><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><br><strong><u>Yearbook<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>:<\/u><\/strong><strong>\u00a0Yearbooks can now be pre-ordered online for $30! The theme is New Constellations. The winning drawings will be displayed on the front and back cover of the yearbook. Those entries not selected will be displayed as <em>Honorable Mentions<\/em> inside the yearbook. If you&#8217;re interested, pick up a flier and drawing template from the office or join our Google Classroom using the code 3fhbvha.
