Mustangs- Here is your daily bulletin for: Monday, April 8, 2024<\/strong>
<\/u><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>Merit Club<\/u> meeting today at lunch. \u00a0We need to finish stuffing eggs, so PLEASE come to help! \u00a0We will also be stuffing eggs on Tuesday and perhaps Wed at lunch too. It’s a great way to earn those service points.

Attention 8th graders:<\/u>\u00a0 There will be an informational meeting at lunch this Wednesday regarding Freshman officer elections. \u00a0Mr. Soltau, the Washington High ASB advisor will be here to let you know the benefits of being part of student government and what you have to do to run for office. \u00a0If you are interested, be sure to attend the meeting . \u00a0The actual location of the meeting will be announced on Wednesday in the bulletin.

<\/strong>ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS:<\/u><\/strong>
The 8th grade trip to Great America will be on May 17th, but you will have to sign up for it in April. \u00a0The cost will be $53, but if you have a season pass, the cost is just $15. \u00a0Signups will happen the week after spring break. \u00a0Parent permission forms will be distributed by math teachers next week. \u00a0Remember, kids on the restricted list cannot go, so PLEASE make good choices for the rest of the year!

\u00a0<\/strong>Book Faire:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Save the date and start saving your money! \u00a0The Bookfair is coming to the Library the Week we come back from Spring Break! \u00a0It will run from April 8th \u00a0to \u00a0April 12th.<\/strong>

Homework Help:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Want help with your homework with our own CMS teachers? Homework Club meets after school from 2:45-3:45 in H-132. No sign up needed to come. These sessions will be most Tuesdays and Thursdays until mid-April. Check the flyer in the front office for exact dates.\u00a0<\/strong><\/u>

<\/u><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/u><\/em><\/strong>Spring is here! \u00a0 This means there will be awesome end of the year activities coming up, better weather, and the restricted list . \u00a0 The restricted list is the list of student who will not be eligible to participate in the exciting, upcoming activities. \u00a0How do you get on the restricted list? \u00a0Any student who is:<\/em><\/strong>

  • Tardy eight or more times<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Assigned lunch and\/or after school detention eight or more times<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Receives more than three RC referrals<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Receives three student discipline referrals to the assistant principal<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Any student who is suspended on or off campus for a partial or full day<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>These students will be placed on the restricted list starting on March 18th through the end of the school year. \u00a0The restricted list students lose the opportunity to participate in one or more upcoming activities. \u00a0The good news is this is progressive and you can earn the privilege to attend the next special event if you are on the restricted list by following the three R\u2019s (be Respectful, be Responsible and be Ready to learn). \u00a0Ms Grimmer or Mr. Bassette can answer any questions you may have.<\/em><\/strong><\/strong>
