Mustangs- Here is your daily bulletin for: Friday October 3, 2025

As we reflect on the many ways Ms. Oliver-Brown has touched our Centerville community a temporary memorial is being created to honor her. All students and faculty are invited to help create a Tribute Tree in her honor. There is a tree outside her room, next to the art room that we will use for this.\u00a0
Beginning today, and every day next week (before school, at lunch, and after school), there will be a table out by the tree in the D Wing area with colorful plastic tags and Sharpies for you to use to write either a short message about Ms. Brown, or simply a word or two that reminds you of her, and then sign your name. Those messages will be hung from the tree with the rainbow ribbons to celebrate our many memories of her.\u00a0
This little memorial will remain up throughout October. Ms. Brown’s family will be invited to come see her Tribute Tree next weekend, and view all the things Centerville will always remember about her.\u00a0
So stop by the D-Wing at lunch today, or after school to add your memories, thoughts, and kind words to Ms. Brown’s Tribute Tree.\u00a0

There will be an open mic in G101 today. There will be a film screening, drumming, and dancing. Bring your lunch. First come, first served. We close the doors after 60 people.\u00a0

The Wellness Center has moved to room H116 which is next door to H132. Follow the arrow sign and come see Ms. Sadie for a break, a quick check in, or to hang out during lunch.
October 10th is World Mental Health Day and the Wellness Center is having an art contest to celebrate it. Create a piece of art that shows how you take care of your mental health and turn it into the Wellness Center by Tuesday, Oct 7th for your chance to win a prize. Winners will be announced on October 10th in the morning announcement.

Be sure to check the lists on the gym windows and find your name under the sport you are signed up for.\u00a0
6th Grade Dodgeball is rescheduled for today at lunch in the Gym.
Badminton is after school \u00a0in the gym at 2:45pm. Reminder: \u00a0make sure to wear tennis shoes and bring your own racket.

Hey Centerville 7th and 8th grade students. \u00a0Are you interested in competing in a world wide math competition? \u00a0If so, come learn about the Math Olympiad. Centerville will be fielding a 7th and an 8th grade team of students to compete against their peers working to solve interesting and challenging problems. If this sounds like something you are interested in, or just want to find out more, then come to H132 during lunch on Monday, October 6th to get the details and to pick up a parent permission form.
