Good morning, Mustangs. The Wellness Center’s weekly lunchtime activity is watercoloring. We will have all the supplies set up at lunch outside, hope to see you there!

Chess Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch in C101. All students are welcome to stop by and play!
Hey Mustangs! Have you ever been curious or interested in Martial Arts? If so, there is a new Martial Arts club starting up where you can learn more about the sport and share previous experiences with other club members. Our first meet up will be TODAY in \u00a0P102 at lunch. Feel free to stop by and join our first meeting!
Homework Club meets after school from 2:45-3:45pm in room H132.

Attention Mustangs!
Today is the last day to purchase Winter Dance tickets with cash after school. Please come by H221 after school to purchase tickets. Tickets are $9.00 (or $7.00 with ASB), not including food. If you have purchased tickets online, please do not forget to pick up a parent\/guardian permission slip, which can be returned to Mr. Wu (H221) before the day of the dance. You will want to submit your song requests ASAP. Instructions are on the permission slip.
For your convenience, we will also be selling Winter Dance tickets tomorrow (Wed, 12\/17) during lunch (not after school). This will be the last opportunity to purchase tickets with cash.
Please note, students who turn in their permission slips early will have priority entry to the dance at 5:00pm.
The Winter Dance will take place on Thursday 12\/18 from 5:00\u20137:00 PM in the gym.

Attention Intramural Sports Participants: Tennis is on rain or shine on Wednesday after school. \u00a0If it rains, please meet Coach Gehrke in the front lobby of the Gym. \u00a0This is the last class for the year.

Turkey Trot Update!
The Turkey Trot has been tentatively rescheduled for Friday, December 19th during lunch. Remember to come in the clothes that you want to run in, and we will be meeting on the track at the beginning of lunch. Please bring your student ID.

Mustangs let\u2019s continue the winter break spirit week countdown. \u00a0Tomorrow is \u201cFind the Winter Characters Hidden around School.\u201d

Girls basketball tryouts will begin today from 4:00\u20136:30 PM in the gym. Students must attend tryouts in order to be considered for the team. Good luck to all who plan to try out!

The Library has multiple announcements this week: Library Helpers will continue to ready holiday books at lunchtime. \u00a0Meet at the black picnic tables to hear the story “Click, Clack, Ho! Ho! \u00a0Ho!” by Doreen Cronin. \u00a0At the moment, there are more than 220 overdue library books. \u00a0Please return them Before Winter Break! \u00a0Check your student email TODAY for the titles and dates they were due. \u00a0Finally, the library received over 300 NEW Books this month! \u00a0Please come in to check the New Book Cart and Display to see if the next book in your favorite series is available for checkout.

New second semester schedules will be distributed on Friday. Students will report to their homeroom after lunch to pick up their schedules and will then proceed to their 5th period class.

Friday December 19 will be a minimum day, with classes dismissed at 12:52 PM
