Nature Arts Club meets in room C102 during lunch in room C102.


Attention Mustangs!
Continuing with Spirit Week, today’s theme is “Movies”. Sci-fi, Wild West, and Superhero outfits abound.\u00a0
Tomorrow’s theme is “School Colors”.
If you are in 6th grade, dress in Black. If you are in 7th grade, dress in Red. And if you are in 8th grade, dress in White. Remember, all outfits must be school-appropriate. No full face masks, weapons, blood, or gore. Have a spectacular week!


We will have our final Open Mic at lunch today in G101. Bring your lunches and enjoy the show!\u00a0


The Dark Horse Film Festival will be screening films after school today in G101. Bring your friends. Bring your family. Bring your popcorn. \u00a0


The 8th Grade Farewell Picnic will be today Thursday from 5pm-7pm. \u00a0Enjoy food, cold treats, delicious drinks, and an inflatable slide and obstacle course, field games, and music.
When you arrive, every student must show their student ID card. Additionally, the permission slip and waiver must be completed and signed PRIOR to the event. Be sure to fill-out the FRONT and BACK of the waivers. Only students with a signed waiver\/permission slip and their ID will be allowed to enter the event and participate.\u00a0


Yearbooks will be distributed this week. Any 8th graders who purchased a yearbook can pick up their yearbook at the 8th grade picnic.
6th and 7th graders will receive their yearbooks in fourth period on Friday, May 29. Anyone who is absent may pick up their book the following week in the office. Remember to write your name immediately on the inside cover in case it gets lost. Starting Monday morning, we will sell any extras we have in the office for $40 cash only, exact change.


Round Up Day will be on Monday June 1st from 1:15-2:45pm on campus. \u00a0Join us for the year end carnival with food and game booths and lots of fun. \u00a0Tickets cost $0.50 each. \u00a0


Students – We have received information that some students are planning fights on the last day of school. Physical fighting is never acceptable and will result in serious consequences.Any student involved in a fight will receive a 5-day suspension. Because the school year is ending, those suspension days will carry over to next school year. This means students involved in fighting will not be allowed to participate in the first days of school and will serve their suspension at that time.
Do not let one bad decision affect the way you start next school year. We want everyone to finish the year safely, positively, and with pride.
If you are aware of planned conflicts, please make a good choice and walk away, encourage others to do the same, or let an adult know before the situation escalates.
