{"id":169,"date":"2022-09-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-16T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fusd.dev.apppresser.com\/forestpark\/2022\/09\/16\/student-meals-in-2022-23\/"},"modified":"2022-09-16T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-09-16T00:00:00","slug":"student-meals-in-2022-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/forestpark\/uncategorized\/student-meals-in-2022-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Meals in 2022-23"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Fremont Unified School District is able to provide healthy breakfast and lunch each day at no charge for&nbsp;<strong>all enrolled students<\/strong>&nbsp;during the 2022-23 school year.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Cabrillo Elementary and Robertson Continuation High are implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>All other FUSD schools are implementing an alternative program available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called Provision 2.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Although no meal application is needed to receive free meals,&nbsp;<strong>parents\/guardians of students enrolled in all schools except Cabrillo and Robertson are encouraged to complete the Meal Application Form available at&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fusdcafes.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>https:\/\/fusdcafes.org<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;to receive benefits for their students and\/or families (various discounted services, fee waivers, program eligibility, etc.), and to support FUSD&rsquo;s continued eligibility for specific funding.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>More information is available on the Child Nutrition Services website at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/fusdcafes.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/fusdcafes.org<\/a>.
