Walk of the Wolverines:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

It is important as we enter this season of thanks to give a huge thank you to our entire Forest Park Community. \u00a0Our Walk of the Wolverines was a fun event on 10\/20. \u00a0The donation window remains open until 11:59 pm 10\/27\/23. Our classrooms will benefit greatly from the funds raised. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Walk and Roll to School Day:<\/span><\/strong><\/u>

Thank you for participating in Walk and Roll to School Day on October 4 sponsored by our FPPTA.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Walk to school – 373, Bike\/ scooters – 104, Carpool – 10, Car – 47<\/strong><\/span>

PBIS:<\/u>\u00a0<\/span>This year we have started a new STAR Assembly for students. \u00a0The first assembly was on September 29. \u00a0Students in grades 1-5 were honored with a Wolverine or STAR award.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

HALLOWEEN<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\r\n

Our annual Halloween Walk About will be on Tuesday, October 31, at 9:00 a.m. for grades K-5.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

<\/strong><\/strong>Guests are welcome to view this event- we will have a NEW parade route. \u00a0Students and staff will parade down the Maybird sidewalk towards Deep Creek and back around to the campus. \u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Visitors may view the parade by standing along the perimeter of the field (on the grass). \u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Halloween Costumes:<\/span>\u00a0 Please remember that the regular dress code applies to costumes. \u00a0Children must be able to change into and out of their own costumes without assistance and weapons or other dangerous props should not be brought to school.\u00a0<\/strong>We are still conducting instruction during the remainder of the day. \u00a0Your child may want to wear regular clothes under their costume so they can remove their costume for the remainder of the day. \u00a0If your child elects to dress up for school, they should wear their costume to school as there is no time to change before the parade.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

We will not be responsible for lost costumes at school.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Lost and Found<\/strong><\/span><\/u><\/span><\/p>\r\n

The lost and found is now located in front of the school office. All items not claimed by November 16 will be donated to charity. Please ask your child to check the lost and found periodically for any missing items.<\/p>\r\n


Rainy Day Procedures<\/span><\/u><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\r\n

RAINY DAY ARRIVAL:<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Arrival time 8:15 as we do not have supervision until 8:15\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n
