Volunteer Changes effective August 2026<\/div>\r\n
All volunteers\u2014both new and returning\u2014must complete the Mandated Reporter Training<\/strong> through Keenan Safe Schools<\/strong>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
There are additional requirements for volunteer drivers<\/strong>. In addition to the required documents\u2014the Insurance Declaration Form and the FUSD Declaration Page\u2014volunteer drivers will also be required to complete fingerprinting <\/strong>and undergo a TB test.<\/strong>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

ATTENDANCE ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AND UNEXCUSED ABSENCES<\/h2><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\r\n
The 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR STARTS ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 11, 2026.\u00a0\u00a0All students are expected to report to school on the first day, Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Students who have not attended the first day of school will be dropped at the end of the first day of school.<\/strong>\u00a0Students who are dropped will not be guaranteed a seat at the school and may have to be overloaded to other schools upon return. The only exceptions will be students who are absent due to illness. If a student is absent the first day due to illness, parents or guardians must notify the school\u00a0\u00a0every day the student is absent.\u00a0\u00a0Seats will\u00a0not<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0be held for students on extended vacations or other optional activities, whether or not the school is notified.\u00a0<\/strong>(AR5113.1). After 10 consecutive (uninterrupted) school days of unexcused absences, a student is dropped from the roster and must re-enroll at the district office. No exceptions will be made.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div><\/div>\r\n<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/div>\r\n\r\n<\/div><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\r\n

HEALTH CARE NEEDS\/ MEDICATION FORMS FOR 2026-2027<\/h2><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\r\n

Does your student need to take medication at school or have a health condition we should be aware of? Orders for the 2026-2027 school year must be dated 6\/2\/26 or later to be valid for the full school year. COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH, PUBERTY, AND SEXUALITY EDUCATION CURRICULUM- GRADES 4-5<\/h2>\r\n

On January 16, 2019, the Fremont Board of Education approved Rights, Respect, Responsibility (3Rs) as the comprehensive health, puberty, and sexuality curriculum (CHPSE) for students in grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and high school Health (typically taken in 9th grade).\u00a0The information below is designed to inform families about the curriculum and offer resources to help families support this learning with their children.<\/div>\r\n
