Parent Association<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/glankler\/schedule-news\/news\/\">Newsletters <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Classroom Visits\u00a0 <\/strong>All visitors must sign in at the office.\u00a0 Visitor stickers must be worn at all times while on campus. \u00a0Contact the school office to arrange a visit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conferences<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>If you would like\u00a0to talk to your child&#8217;s teacher about your child, please make arranagments to do so before or\u00a0after school.\u00a0 Staff should not be interrupted when they are teaching or supervising children.\u00a0 Please direct your questions or concerns about your child to the teacher; our para-educators will refer you to the teacher if you ask them about your child.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Illnesses<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <em>Please do not bring or send your child to school when he\/she is sick.\u00a0<\/em> <\/strong>Sick children must be kept at home, resting and getting well.\u00a0 Also, please be aware that we have some children who are very fragile and even a common cold can make them very ill.\u00a0 Sick children will be sent home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Absences<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>It is very important that your child <strong><em>attend school every day and arrive on time.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 If your child should be absent due to illness, family emergency or medical appointments, please call the school, leaving a message, stating your child&#8217;s name, teacher and reason for absence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Labeling Personal Belongings<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>In order to avoid the loss of your child&#8217;s personal belongings, please label your child&#8217;s jacket, backpack, lunch box, etc.\u00a0 Include your child&#8217;s name,\u00a0&#8220;Glankler&#8221;\u00a0and the classroom number.\u00a0 This is also helpful to bus drivers.\u00a0 Children often leave their belongings behind.\u00a0 If your child uses a car seat on the bus, be sure to label it with your child&#8217;s name, your address and the school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Telephone Calls to Staff\u00a0 <\/strong>We will not interrupt class time with phone calls to staff.\u00a0 Staff will return phone calls as soon as they are able.\u00a0 Our school telephone number is 651-1190.\u00a0 The office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>School Lunch Program\u00a0 <\/strong>Your child may qualify for a free or reduced-priced school lunch based on income eligibility.\u00a0 You can collect an application form in our office.\u00a0 You can also buy a full-priced school lunch at $2.75.\u00a0 Please send your child&#8217;s lunch money to school in an envelope with your child&#8217;s name and room number listed.\u00a0 School lunches are delivered to Glankler at approximately 9:00 a.m. and orders must be placed the day prior.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking Lot\u00a0 <\/strong>All areas marked STAFF are for staff only.\u00a0 Please do not park in red zones or the yellow bus zone in front of the school.\u00a0 Please be aware that staff will ask you to move if you park in a staff parking space.\u00a0 Please do not double park and\/or leave your car unattended in any non-parking area.\u00a0 Only cars with handicap placards are to use the handicap spaces.\u00a0 If there are no parking spots available, you must park on the street.<\/p>\n<h3>Pay for School Materials<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.myschoolbucks.com\/ver2\/stores\/catalog\/getproduct?requestAction=&#038;clientKey=ZZH4SQG0X4083VK&#038;productGroupKey=ZZJ02TFJ8V0SLFP&#038;view=&#038;productKey=ZZJ0B17J780PRPA&#038;isStorePreview=\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tGlankler Lost\/Damaged Library Book(s)\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.myschoolbucks.com\/ver2\/stores\/catalog\/getproduct?requestAction=&#038;clientKey=ZZH4SQG0X4083VK&#038;productGroupKey=ZZJ02RNTEX0SQLT&#038;view=&#038;productKey=ZZJ0B17YTB0PWZA&#038;isStorePreview=\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tGlankler Lost\/Damaged Textbook(s)\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parent\/Guardian &amp;
