{"id":191845,"date":"2025-10-02T11:22:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T18:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/grimmer\/?page_id=191845"},"modified":"2025-10-02T14:41:48","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T21:41:48","slug":"visitors-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/grimmer\/about\/policies\/visitors-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Visitor&#8217;s Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Visitors on campus<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Visits to a classroom initiated by a student\u2019s parent\/guardian shall be arranged in consultation with the student\u2019s teachers and the principal.\u00a0\u00a0All visitations must be scheduled with the Principal and parent as to a mutually agreed upon date and time that works for both parties schedule.\u00a0\u00a0Visits to the classroom by a parent must have the Principal supervising the visit.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Visits consist of 30 minutes maximum<\/strong>\u00a0and have limitations as to the frequency of visits per month.\u00a0\u00a0Parents who wish to visit their child&#8217;s classroom must contact the office to set up a time and date for visitation and\u00a0<strong>the parent may not bring\u00a0other children<\/strong>\u00a0with them on the visit.\u00a0\u00a0Office personnel are not allowed to supervise children while parents are visiting the classroom.\u00a0\u00a0Please make arrangements to have siblings or other children supervised off campus in order for your visitation to take place during the set date and time.<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Parent Volunteers<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Classroom teachers will determine if help from a volunteer is needed and will then personally contact the parent to set up a date and time for volunteering. Please be advised that parents should wait until asked by the classroom\u00a0teacher to come to the school for volunteering services.\u00a0Once the teacher contacts the parent, the parents should duly fill out their Civicore Application and should come to the office the day of service, sign in on the visitor log, and then proceed to the classroom.
