Families need to update all information in Aeries at the beginning of the school year. The office should be notified of changes in phone numbers, addresses and emergency contacts (including contacts other than the parent or guardian) during the school year. Accurate information will enable us to make contact quickly in the case of an emergency.<\/p><p><strong>Medication<\/strong><\/p><div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Medical treatment is the responsibility of the parent and the family physician.\u00a0 In most instances, the parent, with the help of the family physician, is urged to work out a schedule of giving medication outside of school hours.\u00a0 If it does become necessary for a student to take any form of medication at school, a form signed by the physician and the parent must be presented to the school secretary.\u00a0 Over-the-counter drugs such as aspirin or Tylenol may not be administered at school without proper form.<br \/><br \/><\/div><div style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of the school year, all medication left for use at school must be picked up by the last day.<\/div><p><a href=\"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2023\/05\/2531115513342634662.pdf\">MedicationAtSchool_FormD.pdf (PDF)<\/a><\/p><p><strong>School Nurse <\/strong><\/p><p>The school nurse is here one day per week.\u00a0 The school nurse will conduct various screenings during the school year.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Emergency CardsIt is the parent\u2019s responsibility to make sure the school has current emergency information.
