Please see the message below.\u00a0<br \/><br \/><i style=\"color: #222222; font-size: small; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; background-color: #ffffff;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Uniformed ICE agents in unmarked vehicles will be conducting \u201cKnock and Talks\u201d primarily in the Sundale area according to what we\u2019ve been advised of. \u00a0We are told that \u201cKnock and Talks\u201d focus on specific individuals and seek voluntary cooperation. Our police department is monitoring the situation and remain committed to supporting our community according to our immigration policy which follows state law.<\/span><\/i><br \/><br \/>Please know that Fremont Unified and Hopkins remain committed to supporting all of our students and families, regardless of immigration status. All of our staff have been trained to follow protocols related immigration enforcement to protect student safety and privacy:\u00a0<ul>\r\n<li>ICE agents are not permitted to enter non-public areas of a school campus.
