Dear FUSD Staff and Community,<\/p>\n
As we close a challenging week for our education community, I want to check in, offer my appreciation, and ask for your continued partnership as we head into the final five days of instruction for the 2021-22 school year.<\/p>\n
To the staff, parents\/guardians and community members who are showing up and doing your best for our students and schools: I humbly offer you my sincere gratitude.<\/p>\n
To our students who are working hard and making thoughtful choices for yourselves and others: our community recognizes and appreciates each of you for your achievement and effort. We also celebrate the many students reaching milestones during this season of promotions, from our youngest learners to our seniors heading off into bright futures.<\/p>\n
I am grateful to those who answered our calls this week to keep communication lines open in light of troubling situations in our school community and our country. Our community’s vigilance in reporting concerns helped us identify and appropriately intervene in additional student discipline issues. There is no indication that any further incidents are related to the hateful messages shared amongst a group of our students at American High School earlier this week – please see my earlier message for more information on that incident.<\/p>\n
We have heard from members of our community that want to know more about our school safety and emergency preparedness. FUSD will continue to work with our community and partners at the Fremont Police Department to address concerns and update our site-specific safety plans<\/a>.<\/p>\n We thank the Fremont Police Department for its support to ensure our schools continue to be safe for our students and staff.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n As always, we encourage you to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement and school administration, and to seek counseling support for students at their schools as needed.<\/p>\n I hope you and your families find moments of joy and relaxation this Memorial Day weekend. Please note that all FUSD schools and offices will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2022 for Memorial Day.<\/p>\n Thank you for your partnership in keeping our schools, students and staff safe.<\/p>\n Sincerely,<\/p>\nCJ Cammack 27 de Mayo 2022<\/p>\n Querido FUSD Personal y Comunidad,<\/p>\n Mientras cerramos una semana desafiante para la comunidad de educaci\u00f3n, quisiera tomar un momento y ofrecer mi apreciaci\u00f3n, y pedir por la continuaci\u00f3n de nuestra camarader\u00eda en la que entramos los \u00faltimos cinco d\u00edas de instrucci\u00f3n para el a\u00f1o escolar de 2021-2022.<\/p>\n Para la Personal, padres\/guardianes y miembros de la comunidad que est\u00e1n apareciendo, y haciendo lo mejor para los estudiantes y las escuelas: yo sencillamente ofrezco mi sincera gratitud.<\/p>\n Para los estudiantes que est\u00e1n trabajando duro y tomando decisiones bien pensadas para ti mismo y otros. Nuestra comunidad reconoce y aprecia cada uno de tus logros y esfuerzos. Tambi\u00e9n queremos celebrar los estudiantes llegando hacia hitos durante la temporada de promociones, desde los aprendizajes m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes hasta los estudiantes mayores hacia rumbo a la universidad.<\/p>\n Estoy agradecido por los que han contestado las llamadas esta semana para mantener la l\u00ednea de la comunidad abierta en tiempos de situaciones preocupantes para nuestra comunidad escolar y nuestro Pa\u00eds. La vigilancia de nuestra comunidad reportando preocupaciones nos ayud\u00f3 a identificar e intervenir apropiadamente hacia cuestiones disciplinarias para estudiantes. No hay indicaci\u00f3n que incidentes m\u00e1s lejos est\u00e1n relacionados con los mensajes de odio compartido entre un grupo de estudiantes en la escuela preparatoria de Am\u00e9rica (American High School) a principios de esta semana – por favor ver mi mensaje al principio para m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n hacia ese incidente.<\/p>\n Hemos escuchado de nuestros miembros de la comunidad que quisieran saber m\u00e1s sobre la seguridad de las escuelas y preparaciones de emergencias. FUSD continuar\u00e1 a trabajar con nuestra comunidad y nuestro compa\u00f1eros del Departamento de Polic\u00eda en Fremont (Fremont Police Department) para abordar las preocupaciones y actualizar nuestro Plan de seguridad escolar<\/a>.<\/p>\n Les damos las Gracias al Departamento de Polic\u00eda de Fremont por su apoyo en asegurar que nuestras escuelas contin\u00faen siendo un lugar seguro para los estudiantes y el personal.<\/strong><\/p>\n Como siempre, nosotros les animamos a reportar cualquier actividad sospechosa hac\u00eda cumplimiento de la ley y administraci\u00f3n escolar y buscar apoyo consejero a los estudiantes en sus escuelas cuando lo necesitan.<\/p>\n Espero que tu y tu familia encuentren momentos de felicidad y relajaci\u00f3n en este fin de semana Memorial.
