{"id":61,"date":"2023-05-08T15:34:10","date_gmt":"2023-05-08T15:34:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fusd.dev.apppresser.com\/leitch\/parking-and-pick-up-drop-off\/"},"modified":"2023-09-15T09:30:55","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T16:30:55","slug":"parking-and-pick-up-drop-off","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/leitch\/about\/policies\/parking-and-pick-up-drop-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking and Pick Up\/Drop Off"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<p>Due to the large number of students we have attending Leitch this year, parking and student pick up and drop off is a challenge.\u00a0 It is important that everyone follow the rules and procedures established to help ensure that things run as smoothly and safely as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Parking: <strong>The parking lots in front of the school are for school staff only<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u00a0For parents wishing to park their cars, you can park on the street (but not in front of the school).\u00a0 Please be courteous of the people who live in this area by not blocking their driveways and not using the parking lots attached to the housing complexes.\u00a0 You can also park in the dirt lot on the corner of Fernald Street and Warren Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Valet\u00a0Drop Off\/Pick Up:\u00a0If you are going to drop your child off or pick them up, please use the valet area.\u00a0\u00a0Turn into the driveway before the school (coming from Warren) and follow it\u00a0towards the portable classrooms.\u00a0 Follow the turn to the left and there will be teachers and volunteers to help get your child in\u00a0or out of your car.\u00a0 Do not let your children enter or exit the car until you get to the area in front of the portable classrooms.\u00a0 As you leave, please turn right on Warren.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, please make sure to follow all traffic laws (i.e. no double parking, not making u-turns in the middle of a road,\u00a0and be careful of pedestrians crossing the street).<\/p>\n<p>We need to make sure that we do everything we can to ensure that our students are as safe as possible.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"1551083567591\" src=\"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2023\/05\/parking-and-drop-off-pick-up-information.jpeg\" alt=\"Parking and Drop Off Pick Up Information\" \/><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Due to the large number of students we have attending Leitch this year, parking and student pick up and drop off is a challenge.\u00a0 It is important that everyone follow the rules and procedures established to help ensure that things run as smoothly and safely as possible.
