Dear Fremont Unified Community,<\/h2>\r\n

This is Classified School Employee Week, and Fremont Unified appreciates each of our dedicated classified employees!\u00a0<\/strong>These employees – including custodians; library media technicians; Transportation staff; paraeducators; office administrative staff; Child Nutrition Services professionals; the Facilities and Construction team; Technology staff; classified managers; staff in Maintenance, Operations and Grounds; and many other important positions – are dedicated, highly skilled, and vital to the success of our students. As a former teacher and principal, I know first hand that our schools can’t operate and serve students well without the critically important work our classified staff in FUSD.<\/p>\r\n

The Board celebrated the following Classified Employees of the Year at this week’s meeting: Stephanie Cabral<\/strong>, Special Education Paraeducator 2, Chadbourne Elementary School; Margaret “Anne” Damron<\/strong>, School Secretary, Oliveira Elementary; Chris Gonzales<\/strong>, Custodian 1, Maloney Elementary School; Sonja Loob<\/strong>, School Registrar, Hopkins Middle School; Teng Sam<\/strong>, Lead IT Support Specialist, Kennedy High School; Geeta Srinivas<\/strong>, Special Education Paraeducator 1, Parkmont\u00a0 Elementary School. Mrs. Damron was selected as a 2024 Alameda County Classified Employee of the Year \u00a0in the Clerical and Administrative Services category! She was chosen by the Alameda County Office of Education for her exemplary work and commitment to students, click here to read more<\/a>. Mrs. Damron has worked for Fremont Unified for 18 years.<\/p>\r\n

This week we held our Retiree Celebration to honor the employees retiring between June 2023 and June 2024, who together represent 2,040 years of service to students in Fremont Unified<\/strong>! Click here to watch a video celebrating all retirees.<\/a><\/p>\r\n

We are rapidly approaching our final day of school on Friday, May 31. Each of the remaining school days will be full, and may be challenging at times. ClassLink: New Password Reset Tool for Students<\/h2>\r\n

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the security and independence of our students’ digital learning experience, Fremont Unified School District is introducing a new Self-Service Password Reset Tool through the ClassLink platform. ClassLink is designed to empower our students by allowing them to manage their own account passwords securely and efficiently.<\/p>\r\n

In order to keep student accounts secure, please complete the following steps by May 31, 2024 to ensure your student maintains access to their account for next school year:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

STEP 1:<\/strong> In parent email, locate a message from FUSD that contains your “Account claim ID” and “Student ID NUMBER”<\/p>\r\n

Aeries Parent Portal & 2024-25 MAZE Process<\/h2>\r\n

Fremont Unified will transition from Infinite Campus to Aeries as our student information system for the 2024-25 school year.<\/p>\r\n

In July 2024<\/strong>, parents and guardians of students enrolled for 2024-25 will receive information to activate their Aeries Parent Portal, and will use the Portal to complete the annual MAZE process, called “Parent Data Confirmation” in Aeries.<\/p>\r\n

MAZE is Fremont Unified School District’s annual data confirmation process in which parents\/guardians:<\/p>\r\n
