Dogs or cats are not allowed at school on or off leash during school operating hours.\u00a0 (Municipal Code Ordinance Section 3-5509)<\/p>\n

Pets are only allowed at school when teachers request them for a unit of study, and students must have the teacher’s and parent’s written permission.\u00a0 Permission must be granted by prior approval of the site Principal.\u00a0 All pets must be caged when brought to school, and the parent must remain in attendance with the pet.\u00a0 Poisonous animals or reptiles are not to be brought to school.\u00a0 If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.<\/p>\n

Our library is full of books that span a variety of genres.\u00a0Students can read for pleasure or check out books for school assignments. If a Mattos library book is lost or damaged, families may utilize My School Bucks to replace the book.
