Since becoming superintendent of Fremont Unified on July 1, I have truly enjoyed my time. It’s been a pleasure to meet so many dedicated students, staff, and community members. I look forward to meeting and collaborating with many more of you as we dig into the work ahead.

In the coming year, I look forward to getting to know Fremont and building relationships centered on positivity and trust. I will keep the District moving in the direction set by the Board of Education in consultation with our staff and community, and we will collectively remain responsive to emerging needs and opportunities.

I am thrilled that at the start of my tenure in this district, I get to jump into the amazing work of our staff in partnership with our community and Board to develop the draft Long Range Facilities Plan that came forward at last week’s Board meeting. The work done to date is truly impressive and monumental. I am eager to engage in all the work ahead to help build toward a better future for our students, staff, and families. Find information below to get involved in this work in the coming months.

This is the first Superintendent’s Newsletter of the year.
