During ELAC meetings, parents will also receive information from our District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC) representative, including but not limited to information regarding assessments, the reclassification process, and services that benefit our Multilingual Learners.<\/div><div style='font-family:proxima-nova, \"proxima nova\", \"Helvetica Neue\", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;'><br><\/div><div style='font-family:proxima-nova, \"proxima nova\", \"Helvetica Neue\", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;'>\n<strong>Unfortunately, no parents have been nominated\/self-nominated to fill our required DELAC Representative position<\/strong>. I am hopeful to fill this position as soon as possible. I will need a supportive parent like you to help. As MSJE&#8217;s DELAC representative you would be responsible for attending some or all <a href=\"https:\/\/fremontunified.org\/about\/instructional-services\/federal-state-programs\/multilingual-learners\/delac-overview\/\">FUSD DELAC meetings<\/a> and reporting back to the MSJE ELAC. DELAC parents serve as <strong>advisors, communicators, and advocates<\/strong> for English Learners and their families across the district. No experience is needed, and you would never be working alone.
