It is imperative that your child arrives to school on time each and every day.\u00a0 Our expectation is that parents will assist their child to prepare for school every morning so that he\/she does not miss any valuable instructional time.<\/p>\n
School success is directly related to good attendance. \u00a0Poor performance in the classroom is often the result of a poor attendance record.\u00a0 Although we encourage good attendance, please keep your child home if he\/she has any of these conditions: dizziness, nausea, vomiting, severe congestion, or fever.\u00a0 The staff and students appreciate not being unnecessarily exposed to infections.<\/p>\n

\nStudents who are tardy must report to the office to receive a tardy slip to be admitted to class.\nTr<\/strong>uancy<\/strong>
\nAny student that meets the criteria as being truant (for excessive absence and\/or tardies) will have the information recorded as part of their permanent record.\u00a0 This will result in letters being sent home, a mandatory meeting with the principal, and a referral to the School Attendance Review Board (SARB).\n
