The purpose of School Site Council (SSC) is to oversee the school programs that include the curriculum and best instructional practices.\u00a0 SSC, made up of the principal, parents\u00a0and teachers, and ensures that the needs of every Oliveira student are\u00a0met. The SSC monitors the Single\u00a0Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) Plan (see below). This group also oversees the spending of certain funds provided through LCAP (see below).<\/p>\n

SSC is made up of an equal number of parents and staff. Parents are elected by parents, and staff by the staff. These members represent the entire school community.<\/p>\n

Members serve a two year term. Guests are always welcome to attend the SSC meetings.<\/p>\n

Location is normally Oliveira Staff Room–Agenda will indicate if meeting is on Zoom.<\/p>\n
