With May brings year-end parties, picnics, field days, and field trips.\n5th Graders have a special promotion picnic at the end of the year which includes a procession through to entire student body set to fun playful music.\nTo help ensure a smooth and hectic-free transition into summer, please review these important year-end reminders:\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"5\">1. Stay Updated on Events<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"6\">\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Check Folders:<\/b> Carefully review your student&#8217;s weekly folder for event announcements and ask your child directly about upcoming activities.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Online Resources:<\/b> Regularly monitor the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/d\/1l4iw_LSz2U0PBv3C8BEhq6iy_Di3l-ry\/p\/1J32-ghtEb49GPHFnPG5OPJnSzlwJf46e\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Patterson Parent News Page<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/pattersonpta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PTA Website<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/calendar.google.com\/calendar\/u\/0\/newembed?color=%239a9cff&amp;src=c_7f11srshaqjjasced9hoi5i7m4@group.calendar.google.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Patterson Website Calendar<\/a> for the latest schedule changes.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"7\">2. Traffic &amp; Parking Rules<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"8\">\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">No Parking in Loops:<\/b> <b data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"21\">Do not leave your car parked or exit your vehicle<\/b> while in the front or back loop areas. Your child must be independent enough to exit or enter the car on their own to use these loops.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Respect Neighbors:<\/b> Do not block school or neighborhood driveways, even for a few minutes.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">No U-Turns:<\/b> For student safety, U-turns are strictly prohibited in front of the school.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"9\">3. Clear Out &amp; Return Items<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">School Property:<\/b> Return all borrowed classroom and library books.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Medication Pickup:<\/b> If your student has medication in the school office, <b data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"72\">it must be picked up by the last day of school.<\/b> Medication will not be stored over the summer.\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<b data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Belongings &amp; Projects:<\/b> Check the Lost and Found box for misplaced items.
