Please contact Summer School staff at <a href=\"mailto:summerschool@fusdk12.net\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">summerschool@fusdk12.net<\/a>&nbsp;if you have other questions.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1ycW4BNkxhxyFtF-1x7tAEdrVqFolSr1y\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Summer School Overview Sheet<\/a> (pdf)<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Summer School Information:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Students will access their schedules and grades in their Infinite Campus account.<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Summer School will be in person at Irvington HS every day.<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Summer School is a five-week session (not six like in previous years).<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>While all classes are in session, many students will be taking their courses via Apex, a computer course program, under the supervision of a FUSD teacher. Students cannot opt in or opt out of Apex courses. Apex courses are being utilized in order to accommodate the most number of FUSD students in this session.<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Students who submitted their course request after the deadline of May 6 may not find a seat for Summer School due to higher than expected enrollment this year. Students who submitted forms after the deadline are on a waiting list and will be added to open classes by the date of their submission.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Schedule changes and other requests will be managed virtually. Complete this form if a schedule change request is needed: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/s1PW7tTvt4bhdxoE6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/s1PW7tTvt4bhdxoE6<\/a> Summer School will contact you about your request.<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Contact Summer School at <a href=\"mailto:summerschool@fusdk12.net\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">summerschool@fusdk12.net<\/a>&nbsp;if you have other questions.<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Dates of Summer Session:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>June 21 to July 21, 2022 (school is in session four dates a week)<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>No School: July 1, 4, 15<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Bell Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Period 1: 8:30 AM &#8211; 11:15 AM<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Nutrition Break: 11:15 AM &#8211; 11:45 AM<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Period 2: 11:50 AM &#8211; 2:35 PM<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Attendance Policy:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p><strong>STUDENTS WILL BE DROPPED IF THEY ARE NOT IN ATTENDANCE ON JUNE 21<\/strong><\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Students must be in their enrolled classes each period, of every school day,&nbsp; in order to be eligible to receive credit. This includes students assigned to Apex courses.<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Students will be allowed to miss two days, which has been the established practice for summer courses in past years. This year, however, summer session is a week shorter, and students who miss a class must make up that time by staying after school. Each missed class requires two after school make up days.<\/p>\r\n\r\n        <ul>\r\n            <li>\r\n                <p>Each period is 2 hours and 30 minutes long. Students must make up their missed class time after school for 1 hour and 15 minutes.<\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n                <p>Students must complete their makeups within 4 school days of their absence<\/p>\r\n            <\/li>\r\n        <\/ul>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Students cannot miss any days in the last week of school as completing the required make ups will not be possible that week<\/p>\r\n    <\/li>\r\n    <li>\r\n        <p>Three tardies equals one absence.
