Dear Fremont Unified Community,<\/h2>\n

I hope the first weeks of 2024 have brought you moments of joy, and time to look forward to the year ahead, as I did in my recent message<\/a> celebrating the achievements of 2023 and setting goals for our district moving forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year Fremont Unified celebrates its 60th anniversary<\/strong> of serving students and our community. It is amazing to consider the people, events and changes our schools have seen and supported since 1964. I look forward to celebrating Fremont Unified\u2019s past, present and future at our State of the District presentation<\/a> on January 30. I hope you can join us<\/strong>; please find more information and a link to stream the event below.<\/p>\n

Effective January 22, Fremont Unified is updating its COVID-19 protocols for students and staff<\/strong> to align with recent changes to COVID-19 guidance and regulations applicable to California schools, employers and employees. The updates move to a symptom-based approach for isolation, see below for key protocols applicable to our students and staff.<\/p>\n

I thank each of you for the care you have demonstrated for our students, staff and schools through your cooperation and compliance with shifting public health protocols.<\/p>\n
