Girls On the Run
Enroll in a fun running program: Girls on the Run!
Girls on the Run is a nonprofit that uses the power of running to build healthy, confident girls. Now more than ever, girls need a safe place to share feelings, build friendships, and get active. Physical activity is woven into each practice, to inspire an appreciation of fitness and to build habits that lead to a lifetime of health. Each session consists of a discussion-based lesson, movement-based games, and a running workout.
Girls on the Run is one of only 3 programs recognized by the Harvard Graduate School of Education as a top social-emotional learning (SEL) experience. Emotional intelligence is the building block of next-generation leadership: we build these critical skills, including confidence, motivation, self-awareness, growth mindset, boundary-setting, and empathy.
