Welcome to FUSD's Preschool Programs

Welcome to the Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) Preschool Program, where we offer two exceptional programs tailored to nurture the growth and development of 3 and 4 year old children ? Our State Preschool and Preschool Enrichment Program (PEP) are led by experienced teachers who specialize in early childhood education, each certified by the California Department of Education. Supported by an exceptional team of paraeducators, our educators create a positive learning environment for your child's early educational journey.

Preschool Penguin MascotOur play-based curriculum is designed with a focus on fun and developmentally appropriate learning activities aligned with the California Preschool Learning Foundations. Emphasizing social-emotional growth, kindergarten readiness skills, educational field trips, and family engagement opportunities, our programs provide a holistic approach to early education. We also offer early intervention referrals, demonstrating our commitment to addressing the individual needs of each child.

For your convenience, our office staff is located at FUSD's District Office, where enrollment can be seamlessly completed. Preschool Enrichment Program (PEP)

  • Tuition based program ?
  • 2, 3, or 5 day per week programs, 8:30-11:50 a.m.
  • Centrally located at the Alvirda Hyman Learning Center (behind the Fremont Adult School)
  • Children must be toilet trained
  • 1:8 adult to student ratio
