Congratulations to Jeremy C. for making it into the CBDA All State Honor Band for 2024! Way to go!
LatinX Club: Remember there’s LatinX Club Wednesday during lunch in room H 221 – see you there!
Gimkit and Kahoot Club: Meets on Fridays in Room H 208…all are welcome.
After School Homework Help: On Tuesday and Thursday in room H 132. (December 5 and 7, December 13 and 14). 2:45 to 3:45, students must stay the entire hour.
Mustangs! Do you like puzzles? If so, come to the Library and participate in our community puzzle project! Our 2 requirements are: 1) Please respect the work of others and 2) Do NOT take any pieces. Come and join the fun!
The Canned Food Drive continues this week and ends next week. Help your class win the Merit Club Challenge by filling your thermometer. The office has already collected almost enough to win their prize. Other classes around campus that are pushing to win include: Chen’s students, Stark’s students, Fields’s students, Petty-Elliot’s students and Ms Torrisi’s kids who have already collected 67 items. Thermometers will be updated again this Friday, so bring in your donations soon!
Holiday Fun Run sign-ups continue today at lunch in F-106. Cost is $1, only 250 runners allowed…lots of prizes to be won! Come run with special guest stars, including: elves, reindeer and snowmen! Lots of fun, and you do not need to be a fast runner to participate.
Girls Basketball Tryouts: Informational meeting at lunch on December 7, 2023, 6th grade tryouts: Dec 14th, 3-5 PM, 7th and 8th grade tryouts: Dec 20th, 2-4 PM. Practices will start on January 8th
Yearbook: Yearbooks can now be pre-ordered online for $30! Go to buytheyearbook.com and use the school code 718525 to order. The Early Bird Discount runs until the end of December.
Yearbook Cover Contest: We are inviting all Centerville students to enter their drawings in the Yearbook Cover Contest. The theme is New Constellations. The winning drawings will be displayed on the front and back cover of the yearbook. Those entries not selected will be displayed as Honorable Mentions inside the yearbook. If you’re interested, pick up a flier and drawing template from the office or join our Google Classroom using the code 3fhbvha. Turn in entries at the office.
