Did you participate in the Birthday Book Club at the beginning of the year?  If so, check the Library Window near H132 and see if your name is listed on the “Happy Birthday” Poster.  Tell Mrs Montiel your name and Title of the Book and you will be the first to check out the book that was donated to the Library in your honor.  Thank you to those who participated and there is still time to join if you would like!  See Mrs Montiel for details.
 
Merit Club meeting today in F106.  Please join us to stuff eggs for the Spring Fling Thing.
 
Compatibility Match results will be available for purchase, starting on Wednesday at lunch in F106.  There are two lists for those who completed the survey.  The first list you buy is $2 OR you can buy both lists for $3. Sale continues through March 5th.
 
Hey Mustangs!  Do you want a slice of pie?  Well you are in luck.  Pi day, which is on March 14th, is fast approaching, and the Centerville tradition of having a slice of pie has once again returned.  If you want pie, see any math teacher in order to purchase a ticket for just $3 that you can redeem on March 14th.  Tickets will sell fast, so don’t delay.  
 
Attention Artists!  The Bookmarks are displayed on the glass wall in the library.  Is yours one of them?  There’s still time to submit your entry!  Deadline is this Wednesday, February 28th.
Also, our Community Puzzle Table is in need of Donations!  If you have any COMPLETE 500 Piece puzzles you would like to donate, please bring them by any time.  Thank you!
 
Attention 8th graders interested in taking Spanish next year in High School. If Spanish is your primary language at home, you can move to a higher level Spanish course next year by demonstrating your ability on their online placement test. The test can be done at school or at home. If you are interested, or would like more information please contact Mr. Renteria before Feb. 28th. 
 
Atencion estudiantes de 8º grado. Interesados en tomar español el próximo año. Si español es tu primer idioma en casa, existe un examen de español para hablantes nativos. Si pasas el examen, estaras elegible para un curso de español de nivel superior el próximo año. La prueba se puede realizar en la escuela o en casa. Si tienes interes en realziar esto o deseas obtener más información, comuníquese con el Sr. Rentería en la oficina antes del 28 de febrero.
 
 
Boys Volleyball:  Tryouts will be the 28th and 29th after school.  Practice starts on March 4th
 
Homework Help:   Want help with your homework with our own CMS teachers? Homework Club meets after school from 2:45-3:45 in H-132. No sign up needed to come. These sessions will be most Tuesdays and Thursdays until mid-April. Check the flyer in the front office for exact dates. 
 
Due to the fundraiser on March 7th, after school homework club will be canceled.
