Hello and Good Morning Centerville Mustangs
Here is your daily bulletin for: Wednesday, October 16, 2024
We have our second Kindness Award winner, Isadora Lucio! This student has been recognized for someone who listens well, is supportive of others, and is always willing to help. From your friend Hadya. Thank you Isadora for being an awesome Centerville citizen. Please stop by the office to grab your reward!
Is the teacher, Ms. Morello from “Everybody Hates Chris” Â misunderstood or racist? Let’s talk about it Thursday with the Black Student Union. We meet at lunch in Room C103 or Mr. Williams’ room.
Students, today there is no Homeroom or Flex Period. After lunch, retrieve your backpack and go to your 5th period class.
Ready for prizes, candy, and food trucks? The Fall Carnival is just around the corner on October 23rd from 5-7pm in the Centerville Gym. Tickets go on sale on Oct. 21st at lunch- 50 cents for 1 ticket and get the first 5 tickets free with ASB!
Attention Centerville Math students. Â If you are interested in participating in the AMC8 Math Competition, the registration deadline is this Friday, Oct. 18. Please see any math teacher to pick up a registration form.
6th grade and 7th grade tryouts will be on Thursday, October 17, 3pm to 5pm.
8th grade tryouts will be held on Monday, October 21, 3pm to 5pm.
Attention students and staff! Â The Scholastic Book Fair is this week, October 14th-18th ! Â Don’t miss your chance to grab your next great read, a new poster or a fun journal. Â Get your wallets ready! As a reminder, Chromebooks are not available the week of the book fair so be sure to sign up for FLEX in advance.
Halloween will be here before we know it. Please make sure your student’s costume follows the school dress code on Halloween. This will be strictly enforced. Under no circumstances will masks that cover the entire face, fake gore and/or blood, or fake weapons be permitted on campus. There also are no inflatable costumes permitted at school due to safety reasons. Thank you so much for your support in making CMS a safe, healthy environment for our Mustangs!Â
Hey, Mustangs  Your kindness quote of the day is ” If you can be anything, be kind.”
HAVE A GREAT DAY MUSTANGS!
