Hello and Good Morning Centerville Mustangs

Hello, Mustangs! Â The school store is open Fridays at lunch in the Innovations Lab, Room H132 behind the main staircase. Â Remember to bring your Mustang Bucks with you at lunch today so that you can buy toys and snacks with your hard-earned school money. Â You have worked hard to earn it and you deserve the treat!
CheckMates Chess Club meets today during lunch in room F106.
If you want to pre-order a yearbook before the price goes up, please do so by the end of December. Go to buytheyearbook.com. Use school code 723333. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Rhodes.
Our Holiday Fun Run will be on Thursday, December 12 during lunch. The first 200 students (maximum) who sign up get to participate. The cost is $1 per student.
Sign ups will be on Tuesday, December 3 at lunch time in front of H132.
6th Grade Girls Basketball Intramural meets the next 4 Thursdays coming up. Mrs. Moua will see you in the Gym.
Hey Mustangs! Have you heard about our fundraiser, Mustang FUNDays? We are trying to reach the goal of $25,000 in donations. If you have not signed up yet, there is still time. Every dollar counts to make a difference and reach our goal.
Dear 7th and 8th grade Mustangs,Â
You will be receiving a draft schedule for next semester today. Â On the schedule, there will be a link to a google form so that you can request a different elective or let us know if there are mistakes. Â You must fill out the form this weekend if you want a change. Â Ms. Grimmer and Mr. Bassett will be making the changes for second semester next week.Â
The library has a Christmas tree and needs ornaments! Â If you are crafty, you are welcome to create a “bookish” themed tree ornament and hang it on our tree. Â You may use any nonbreakable material for your ornament. Â You may use paint, yarn, beads, old book pages, whatever you can think of! Â Just please make sure it remains a standard sized ornament. Â The deadline for ornaments will be 12/18. Â We can’t wait to see what you create!
Students, the holiday season is here! Let’s celebrate by wearing a favorite hat and festive socks today. Find an adult during lunch for holiday Mustang bucks.
Good Morning Mustangs! Saturday, December 7th, marks the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, a key moment in American History. Â On this day in 1941, a US naval base in Hawaii was bombed by Japanese forces in a surprise air attack. Â Over 2,400 Americans lost their lives and many ships and planes were destroyed. Â This event shocked the nation and led to the US officially entering World War II. Â It was a turning point in history that shaped the future of our country. Â To learn more about this historic event, visit the library to explore our book display. Â There are stories of bravery, survival, and the impact this day had on our nation, Japanese Americans, and the world. Â Hope to see you there!
Attention students who are registered for the AMC8 math contest. Â Please check your school email for important information about helping you prepare for the upcoming contest.
Hey, Mustangs! Â The Wellness Center will be closed today. Â We look forward to seeing you on Monday!
HAVE A GREAT DAY MUSTANGS!
