This week is National School Counseling Week! We are so lucky to have awesome counselors here at Centerville! If you see Mr. Macias, Mrs. Glaze, or Mr. Renteria around, please make sure to thank them for all their hard work!

Attention 8th graders!
This is the first week to purchase tickets to Great America. The first day will be Wednesday (2/4) during lunch at H221 followed by Friday (2/6) after school. Ticket sales during lunch time will end at 11:41am (10 minutes before lunch ends). The early bird pricing will be $55.00 (or $15.00 if you have your own season pass), cash only. Tickets will only be sold at the discounted price during lunch on Wednesday: 2/4, 2/11, 2/18 and after school on Fridays: 2/6, 2/20–please plan accordingly. Please do not wait for the last day to avoid longer lines. If you have not purchased your ticket by 2/20, regular pricing will apply. When purchasing your ticket, you will receive a permission slip, which must be fully completed and returned by Fri, February 27th to H221. Please note, there are no refunds. Online ticket sales (at the regular price) will begin on March 1st.


Important announcement for today: Students will report to Homeroom right after lunch today. During Homeroom, students will sign up for Flex sessions for the remainder of this week only.
The sign-up window is open from 12:23 PM to 10:00 PM each day.
Students must sign up even if absent that day.
After 10:00 PM, sign-ups close and students who have not registered will be assigned to available sessions.


Attention Chess Club members – we will have our next chess tournament on Tuesday during lunch and the following students will be competing:
Nithivraj Saravanan, Rithika Vijay, Abhiraj Nigam, Sarvagnya Baramuthapelly, and Nishchay Kalra.


On Wednesday February 4, Centerville hosts our annual Ed Faire from 6:00 – 7:30 PM in the Gym. Come explore the programs, curriculum, and meet the teachers for next year’s classes.
