Early Release: Students will be dismissed on Tuesday, Oct. 25th at 11:56 and Wednesday, Oct 26th at 1:35 for Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Halloween Costumes: Please make sure your costume follows the dress code on Halloween. This will be strictly enforced. Under no circumstances will masks that cover the entire face and are not COVID protocol, fake gore and/or blood, or fake weapons be permitted on campus. These rules also apply to the Halloween dance
Attention Boys that made the basketball team, practice will start TODAY at 3 PM in the gym.
YEARBOOK COVER CONTEST: We are inviting all Centerville students to enter their drawings in the Yearbook Cover Contest. The visual theme is splatter. The winning drawings will be displayed on the front and back cover of the yearbook. Those entries not selected will be displayed as Honorable Mentions inside the yearbook. If you're interested, pick up a flier and drawing template from the office or join our Google Classroom using the code 6fz5433. Entries are due by November 18. Please turn them into the school office.
Mustangs: This week is a big week for all of us. Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated. Merit Club will be selling Red Ribbon week necklaces at the back of room F-106. About 40% of the necklaces will also win a prize. Come check out the excitement. We have made about 500 necklaces, but when we run out, there will not be anymore. Sale starts on TODAY.
Halloween dance tickets will be sold Tuesday through Friday at lunch behind F-106. You must have an ID card to purchase a ticket. Cost is $5, and the dance will be held in the gym from 3 to 5 pm. No tickets are sold on the day of the dance.
Centerville International Faire is happening this year. It is now your turn to participate in a long Centerville tradition. Sign up using the link found on the website.
October Kindness Month, kindness club members will be handing out kindness bucks to students who demonstrate kindness to others. You may spend these at the mustang store on Friday.
‘Kindness’ Art Competition: Leadership and WEB are hosting a Kindness Art Competition. We want you to create a digital or physical piece of art that represents what kindness means to you. Submissions are due to Ms. Denarola in F105 by October 26th. Winner will be announced at the end of the month.
Enter the library's Great Pumpkin contest! Entry forms are available in the library. Decorate a pumpkin shape into your favorite book character. Turn in by Oct 31 to win prizes.
