Ready for prizes, candy, and food trucks? The Fall Carnival is just around the corner on October 23rd from 5-7pm in the Centerville Gym. Tickets go on sale on Oct. 21st at lunch- 50 cents for 1 ticket and get the first 5 tickets free with ASB!

Attention Centerville Math students.  If you are interested in participating in the AMC8 Math Competition, the registration deadline is this Friday, Oct. 18. Please see any math teacher to pick up a registration form.  If you have already signed up, don’t forget that you MUST also turn in your $5 registration fee to Mr LaBarbera in room I102 by this Friday as well.

The Book Fair will be OPEN today!  Please see the schedule posted to determine when your English Class will be visiting.  
Reminders:  
-only students with cash can enter during lunch or before/after school/. 
-there will  be No printing or Chromebooks will be available during the Book Fair.
-there will be no book checkouts as well

6th grade and 7th grade tryouts will be on Thursday, October 17, 3pm to 5pm.

8th grade tryouts will be held on Monday, October 21, 3pm to 5pm.

Is the teacher, Ms. Morello from “Everybody Hates Chris”  misunderstood or racist? Let’s talk about it Thursday with the Black Student Union. We meet at lunch in Room C103 or Mr. Williams’ room.

Halloween will be here before we know it. Please make sure your student’s costume follows the school dress code on Halloween. This will be strictly enforced. Under no circumstances will masks that cover the entire face, fake gore and/or blood, or fake weapons be permitted on campus. There also are no inflatable costumes permitted at school due to safety reasons. Thank you so much for your support in making CMS a safe, healthy environment for our Mustangs!
