Daily Mustang 10/22/24
October 22, 2024
Hello and Good Morning Centerville Mustangs
Here is your daily bulletin for: Tuesday, October 22, 2024
Knitting club is canceled this week.Â
Math Solvers Club meets in F106 today. If you’re interested in challenging math problems, stop by during lunch
Hey, Mustangs! Â Join us for Coding Club today after school at 3pm in room A111, Mr. Yu’s room.
Ready for prizes, candy, and food trucks? The Fall Carnival is just around the corner on October 23rd from 5-7pm in the Centerville Gym. ASB will be selling Fall Carnival tickets in front of H132. Please bring your ID with ASB sticker to get your 5 free tickets! Also, we need more volunteers from 6-7:30 pm. They can sign up to volunteer in the Band Room H129 at lunch time.
The Book Fair has been EXTENDED! Â Please bring small bills and your COINS. Â We are out of pennies! If your parents created an e-Wallet account for you, you have 2 more days to spend your funds. Â You can also use it online! As a reminder, there will be NO book check-outs, Chromebook Availability, or Print outs available while the Book Fair is running. Â We ARE accepting LATE and Overdue Books.
Mustangs:  Breast Cancer Awareness Month is held each year in October. It is  a global health campaign to improve support and screening for the disease. To  show your support for breast cancer awareness and research, please participate in a “Pink Out” on October 29th by wearing your favorite pink clothing or accessories.
Do you have enough W Rizz to identify a Lego Snoop, Kendrick, or Jay-Z? You are cooked if you need last names. Come find out on Thursday at lunch during the Black Student Union Meeting. The meeting is held in room C103 or Mr. Williams room.
Halloween will be here before we know it. Please make sure your student’s costume follows the school dress code on Halloween. This will be strictly enforced. Under no circumstances will masks that cover the entire face, fake gore and/or blood, or fake weapons be permitted on campus. There also are no inflatable costumes permitted at school due to safety reasons. Thank you so much for your support in making CMS a safe, healthy environment for our Mustangs!
Hey, Mustangs  Your kindness quote of the day is “Kindness is showing someone they matter.”
HAVE A GREAT DAY MUSTANGS!
