Daily Mustang 10/23/24
October 23, 2024
Hello and Good Morning Centerville Mustangs
Here is your daily bulletin for: Wednesday, October 23, 2024
Students, today there is no Homeroom or Flex Period. After lunch, retrieve your backpack and go to your 5th period class.
ASB will be selling Fall Carnival tickets at lunch in front of H132. Â We will no longer be passing out free tickets for ASB Membership. Â Tickets can also be purchased at the door when the carnival starts at 5 pm. The cost is $.50 per ticket.
Mustangs:  Breast Cancer Awareness Month is held each year in October. It is  a global health campaign to improve support and screening for the disease. To  show your support for breast cancer awareness and research, please participate in a “Pink Out” on October 29th by wearing your favorite pink clothing or accessories. Â
Mustangs! We have spirit week next week 10/28 – 11/01. Monday is Centerville spirit day. Tuesday is pink out. Wednesday is twin day. Thursday is Halloween and students will be allowed to wear their costumes. Friday is pajama day! Starting next week, show you Mustang spirit!
Halloween will be here before we know it. Please make sure your student’s costume follows the school dress code on Halloween. This will be strictly enforced. Under no circumstances will masks that cover the entire face, fake gore and/or blood, or fake weapons be permitted on campus. There also are no inflatable costumes permitted at school due to safety reasons. Thank you so much for your support in making CMS a safe, healthy environment for our Mustangs!Â
Do you have enough W Rizz to identify a Lego Snoop, Kendrick, or Jay-Z? You are cooked if you need last names. Come find out on Thursday at lunch during the Black Student Union Meeting. The meeting is held in room C103 or Mr. Williams room.
Attention Peer Tutors! We have a meeting today in room P-103 Â at lunch! Â Please come so we can discuss our goals and make decisions on various matters to make progress in our amazing club. The meeting will be for the first 15 minutes of lunch.
Amazing News 7th Graders! We have around 25 Peer Tutors on campus who are willing to offer you academic assistance! Our tutors are volunteering to help our Mustang community so all can be successful in our classes. So, if you’re looking to boost your grades or need help with your homework, please sign up for Peer Tutoring that will occur during FLEX TIME Mondays-Friday. We offer help in English on Mondays, Math tutoring on Tuesdays, Science tutoring on Thursdays, and Study Skills on Fridays. Tutoring will be in room P-103.  Our Tutors are SuperHeroes so sign-up!
Hey, Mustangs  Your kindness quote of the day is “If you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen. —Conan O’Brien”
HAVE A GREAT DAY MUSTANGS!
