Mustangs- Here is your daily bulletin for: Tuesday January 27, 2026


Martial Arts Club meets today at lunch in room P102.


Chess Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch in room C101.  All students are welcome to stop by and play!


Homework Club meets today after school from 2:45-3:45pm in room H132.


Attention Intramural Sports Participants: 
The following intramural sports are in session today: 
6th GRADE DODGEBALL is changed to Friday this week.
7th & 8th GRADE DODGEBALL is at lunch in the Gym.
ARCHERY D is tonight at 7:30pm in the Gym.


Today, January 27th 2026 is Holocaust Remembrance Day. 
The Holocaust occurred during World War II where 6 million Jewish people were killed by the Nazi regime simply because of who they were.  In addition to this, millions of Roma people, people with disabilities, LGBTQ people, and those who fought against these injustices were also killed.  To put this number into perspective, this is a total of 86 Football Fields filled with men, women and children.  All innocent, all lost. 
Even during this dark time, people showed courage, kindness and strength.  Some risked their own lives to help others.  Many survivors showed incredible resilience by continuing to live, learn and share their stories.  Remembering the Holocaust helps us understand why it is important to stand up to hate, respect differences and choose empathy.
If you’d like to learn more about this tragic historical event, come to the library and explore the display where you can find books to help you understand history and help build a world where something like the Holocaust never happens again.
