Teachers & Students ~ Do you have any new or used books you would like to donate? The FAVORS club is hosting a Book Drive all week. Collection stands are located in front of the office and in the quad – before school, during lunch, and after school. Donated books will translate to money that can be used to serve our school and community. Your unused books can make a difference and help a good cause!
We are inviting all Centerville students to enter their drawings in the Yearbook Cover Contest. The visual theme is School Diaries (similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid). The conceptual theme is To My Future Self. The winning drawings will be displayed on the front and back cover of the yearbook. If you’re interested, pick up a flyer and drawing template from the office or join our Google Classroom using the code c3byfgta. Turn in entries at the office by November 12.
Students please sign up for Flex period for the next two weeks. The grace period for not signing up and not recording who you signed up for is over. Students who have not signed up or who forget who they signed up for will receive consequences.
Boys Basketball kicks off their season today against Thornton. Our first home game is Monday, November 10.
The lunch distribution cart has been moved to just outside of the Wellness center. Pick up your dropped off lunches at this new location.
Here’s another interesting bit of knowledge for KNOWvember:
Did you know that the Library has a book that teaches you a 3 step method that can help you improve your observation, interpretation and communication skills? AND it uses art to do so? Come to the Library and check out the book “smART: Use Your Eyes to Boost Your Brain” by Amy E. Herman (with Heather Maclean) to find out more!
HAVE A GREAT DAY MUSTANGS!
