Centerville’s final Kindness Award winners this year are Daniella Matias, Caden Giles, and Shaelynn Mulay. Winners, make sure you stop by the school store for your free treat. Thanks to all the nominees and nominators for taking time to make Centerville a caring and supportive place to learn. Remember Mustangs to keep choosing to be kind.

Boys Basketball has ended. It begins again during Winter Session.
Tennis A has ended.  Archery B is canceled tonight due to the Fall Carnival.

Spirit Week continues tomorrow with Pajama Day.
Come to school in pajamas!

Today marks the start of our annual canned food drive (from 10/29 to 11/19). Help support our local community and families in need by donating non-perishable canned food. Canned protein (like SPAM, chicken breast, or tuna), canned beans (like kidney, pinto, or refried), canned veggies (like corn, peas, yams), and canned fruits (like peaches, mandarins, or pears) are great examples. Please bring your canned food donations to your first period class. Thank you for celebrating the holidays by thinking of what we can do for others.”

The Fall Carnival is tonight from 5:00-7:00pm. You can pre-purchase your admission online (https://store.5starstudents.com/centervillems) or with cash at the door (up until 6:00pm). It is $16.00 per person or $13.00 for ASB members. Enjoy fun games, Halloween prizes, and good company! Be sure to bring extra cash if you wish to relish the food trucks. See you there!

Don’t forget to come pick up your pre-ordered cookie decorating boxes after school in front of the office. Happy decorating.

We are inviting all Centerville students to enter their drawings in the Yearbook Cover Contest. The visual theme is School Diaries (similar to Diary of a Wimpy Kid). The conceptual theme is To My Future Self. The winning drawings will be displayed on the front and back cover of the yearbook. If you’re interested, pick up a flyer and drawing template from the office or join our Google Classroom using the code c3byfgta. Turn in entries at the office by November 12.
