Flextime:  Students are to sign up TODAY for the next two weeks of flextime
Rubic’s Club is cancelled today
Hey Mustangs! We have some upcoming spirit days! Starting on Monday March 25th, we have Twin Day. Find a friend to match with. On Tuesday March 26th, we have 2000s day! Let’s time travel back to the 2000s and go full glam! On Wednesday, March 27th, we have character day! Dress up like your favorite character or show some spirit of how much you love the character. 
 
ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS:
The 8th grade trip to Great America will be on May 17th, but you will have to sign up for it in April.  The cost will be $53, but if you have a season pass, the cost is just $15.  Signups will happen the week after spring break.  Parent permission forms will be distributed by math teachers next week.  Remember, kids on the restricted list cannot go, so PLEASE make good choices for the rest of the year!

 YEARBOOKS: There is less than one month to pre-order a yearbook. Go to buytheyearbook.com and use the school code 718525 to place your order.
 
Book Faire:  Save the date and start saving your money!  The Bookfair is coming to the Library the Week we come back from Spring Break!  It will run from  April 8th  to  April 12th.
 
Homework Help:   Want help with your homework with our own CMS teachers? Homework Club meets after school from 2:45-3:45 in H-132. No sign up needed to come. These sessions will be most Tuesdays and Thursdays until mid-April. Check the flyer in the front office for exact dates. 
 


Did you know Spring is quickly approaching?   This means there will be awesome end of the year activities coming up, better weather, and the restricted list .   The restricted list is the list of student who will not be eligible to participate in the exciting, upcoming activities.  How do you get on the restricted list?  Any student who is:

• Tardy eight or more times
• Assigned lunch and/or after school detention eight or more times
• Receives more than three RC referrals
• Receives three student discipline referrals to the assistant principal
• Any student who is suspended on or off campus for a partial or full day

These students will be placed on the restricted list starting on March 18th through the end of the school year.  The restricted list students lose the opportunity to participate in one or more upcoming activities.  The good news is this is progressive and you can earn the privilege to attend the next special event if you are on the restricted list by following the three R’s (be Respectful, be Responsible and be Ready to learn).  Ms Grimmer or Mr. Bassette can answer any questions you may have.
