May 11 is Bike to School Day

Bike to School Day, presented by the Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools program, is on May 11, 2023.

FUSD has at least 22 schools participating in the 2023 Bike to School Day on May 11, an opportunity for families and students to try riding bikes to school for the first time or to renew a commitment to healthy and safe travel via bike.

The Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools (ACSR2S) program is leading the event, one of many it promotes that encourages students, families and schools communities to use healthy modes of active and shared transportation.

ACSR2S provides registered schools free resources to help encourage and celebrate safe bicycle travel. Click here to find out more about ACSR2S.
