Dear Niles Community,

This morning, around 8:00 AM, a fire started near Alameda Creek Trail, and the wind conditions blew smoke and ash toward our school.

All students, staff, and buildings are safe. The Fremont Fire Department (FFD) responded quickly, and we briefly directed our students and staff to stay indoors due to the air condition. We also turned off the HVAC system to ensure clean air circulation.

We have resumed all outdoor activities, and our HVAC system is back on as the air quality has improved.
