11/15/23: Shelter in Place at Washington High School

Dear Washington Community,
On November 15 at approximately 10:50 am, our site sheltered in place under instructions from the Fremont Police Department (FPD) due to an incident in our general neighborhood that was not on, or related to, our campus.
Our students and staff sheltered in place for approximately 3 minutes before we were advised by FPD that we could proceed with our normal operations. I thank FPD for their quick response and communication during this incident.
If your student might need additional support to address any concerns this incident may have raised, please encourage them to visit our Wellness Center or reach out to one of our school counselors.
