Greetings Ardenwood Families & Staff,
Even with Spring break last month, Dragons were still quite busy! Enjoy the photos of our basketball teams, student council, Math Olympiad, Spring Concert, Pi Contest, Eid Festival, Math Kangaroo and more. Shoutout to our Ardenwood Educator of the Year, Mrs. Zelt and Ardenwood Classified Employee of the Year, Mrs. Sayd. Congratulations to Mrs. Ferguson and Ms. Rutiaga on their soon to arrive bundles of joy!
As we transition into April, our ELPAC team has already begun administration of the English Language Proficiency Assessment for California. Students who are designated as English Learners will be administered this test. In May, students in grades 3-5 will take the CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress); Students in grade 5 will take the CAST (California Science Test) and students in grades 4 and 5 will receive instruction in health education. Please check Parent Square messages for more information in the coming weeks. Â
We appreciate our families' adherence to traffic rules and regulations and Ardenwood drop-off and pick-up policies. However, recently, City of Fremont personnel shared that they still occasionally see cars parked in red zones, making illegal U-turns and not pausing at crosswalks for pedestrians. Please remember, city ordinances and Ardenwood policies are designed to keep everyone safe, especially children. Thank you for adhering to the rules. Parents and Guardians, please support us by taking a moment to review our school rules with your student--they may be found
here. Â
Be Safe, Respectful and Responsible–Go Dragons!!!
