Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)

ELO-P General Information

The California Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) provides funding for before school, after school, summer and intersession learning programs for transitional kindergarten through 5th grade in FUSD. All FUSD elementary schools have a community partner program to provide extended day care (before and after school) and enrichment programs for enrolled ELO-P students in a school year.

Eligibility for Programs

Students who are designated in one or more specific categories (English learners, foster youth, homeless students, migrant students, and students who are free or reduced-price meal eligible under the National School Lunch Program) are eligible for ELO-P. Students are eligible to participate at approved locations at no cost.

ELO-P Applications

ELO-P eligibility is granted for one school year, parent(s)/ guardian(s) must apply ELO-P each year. If you would like to apply for the no-cost care, please submit the application as below.

2024 Ohlone for Kids & Teens Opportunity

Fremont Unified School District is excited to share an enrichment / extended school year opportunity for elementary and secondary students this summer. Ohlone College and FUSD have an agreement in place to permit eligible FUSD students under the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) to attend the 2024 Ohlone for Kids & Teens Enrichment Program at no cost to the student’s family.
