There is no school from November 25 – November 29. Happy Thanksgiving to all our Brookvale Families! School resumes on Monday, December 2nd.
DECEMBER 13 5:30PM – 7:00PM: WINTER WONDERLAND!
Brookvale PTA will be hosting a Winter Wonderland event on Friday, December 13th from 5:30PM – 7:00PM at school and we look forward to seeing you all! This free event will include a variety of fun things and here’s just a few:
*Bake Sale including cookies, muffins, cupcakes and hot cocoa
*Picture with Santa!
*Arts & Crafts station
*Snowball fight!
*Winter decorations & music
We are still finalizing some details so please be on the lookout for more information in the coming weeks! If you love baking and are interested in participating in the Bake Sale, please sign up and let us know what you will be donating! To keep it simple, we are keeping the selections to cupcakes, cookies and muffins. We ask that a list of ingredients be printed out and included with the goodies. 2-3 dozen of your goodies would be fantastic!
In addition to all of the fun activities, we will also have the raffle contest competition amongst the classes! Last year’s was so much fun, we have to do it again this year. For classes that wish to participate, families will organize a gift basket to raffle and the gift baskets that receive the most raffle tickets the night of Winter Wonderland will win a prize for the class! More details will be sent out, but just something to keep in mind!
We would love to have an outdoor section decorated with holiday inflatables, so if you have any that we could borrow for that evening, please let us know! We would also love some parent volunteers to help us set up some lights and inflatables.
THANK YOU!
DECEMBER 16 2:45PM – 5:15PM BIKE MOBILE
We want to see more families riding their bikes to Brookvale. That’s why we’ve invited the
BikeMobile to provide free tune ups & repairs for parents and children.
The BikeMobile can fix flat tires, adjust brakes and gears, and even replace broken or worn out
parts like chains, seats, and tires. The only thing it can’t do is replace missing wheels or gears.
While the mechanics work on your bike they’ll explain how to keep it running smooth.
Bike or no bike, everyone is welcome to attend to learn about maintenance, safety, and more!
This is a first come, first serve event. Space is limited to 20 people.
Bring your bikes to Brookvale on December 16th between 2:45 – 5:15. We look forward to seeing you there!
