Brookvale March 2025 Updates!

CONTINUING STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2025-2026

Residency Verification forms are DUE!  The deadline was February 28th. This is required twice a year (once in July to start the school year and once in February to finish the school year).  Families that do not prove residency may be dropped from enrollment (required per Board Policy 5111).

The residency verification email was sent by Greg Bailey on February 3rd.  This email will only be sent to the primary parent so please check both parents emails and spam folders.  If you cannot find the email, please contact the Brookvale school office so we can resend it to you.

Two proofs of your current address must be uploaded to the form in the email and submitted in order for your residency verification to be complete.  Alternatively, you may bring two proofs to the Brookvale office or email them to Jennifer Mehta at [email protected].

GOLDEN SNEAKER CONTEST

The Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools team is pumped to announce that the 2025 Golden Sneaker Contest is happening March 3 – March 14, 2025! During this well-loved event, Alameda County students, classrooms, and schools will participate to see who can walk, roll, carpool, and/or use public transit the most.

SOCCER SEASON IS HERE!

Tryouts are complete.  We will no longer be accepting permission slips for soccer.  

Soccer practice will be every Monday and Wednesday.  

Girls practice from 4-5pm

Boys practice from 5-6pm.

THORNTON MIDDLE SCHOOL INFORMATION NIGHT

Wednesday, April 2nd from 6pm – 7:00pm

SPRING BREAK

Spring Break is April 18 – 25.  School will resume on Monday, April 28th.

MOVING? 

If you move to another Fremont neighborhood, please complete the online Change of Residency (COR) form and bring it to the Brookvale office  to ensure your child gets enrolled in their new school (required within 5 days of your move  BP5111).   If you move OUT of Fremont, please contact the Brookvale Secretary at [email protected] for an Intent to Withdraw Form.

ATTENDANCE

Your student should be at school and in class as much as possible during the day.  FUSD’s funding from the state is based on the number of students at school and on time.  When students are absent or late to school, we receive no funding for that day.
