Community Connections
Brookvale School emphasizes and supports the use of parent volunteers within the school community while ensuring the safety of all students at Brookvale.
The success of a school is directly related to PARENT INVOLVEMENT! We encourage parental engagement and welcome our parents to join us in our mission to support our students both academically and socially. In addition to volunteering in the classroom, FUSD and Brookvale School offer other opportunities for parent involvement.
Please continue to watch for upcoming opportunities to participate by checking the school and district websites regularly. We welcome parents to participate as representatives on our School Site Council (SSC) and ELAC committee and invite parents to vote for our new SSC representatives.
We thank you for your support.
Volunteers on Campus
Volunteers at a school must sign in and out, must wear a visitor badge at all times, and must follow all site-specific protocols.

Volunteers who independently supervise students (such as when driving or coaching students) must submit an application through CiviCore, and may need to meet additional requirements, such as:
- Volunteers who are transporting students must submit proof of insurance.
- Volunteers who are independently supervising students must undergo fingerprinting and a background check.
- Volunteer coaches must undergo fingerprinting and a background check, and must submit proof of a negative TB test from within the last year.
